What you need is a totally professional and highly qualified interpreter. In high level business meetings, etiquette demands that you provide your own interpreter. The other party will protect their interests by bringing their own interpreter. They will expect you to do likewise. The German Minister of Trade said "If you want to buy from us you don’t need to speak German. But, if you want to sell to us......."  The message is clear; you jeopardise your business interests unless you come to the meeting on equal terms, and that includes having your own interpreter. You cannot rely on the other party’s interpreter to protect your interests. His loyalty is to those who employ him.

What you don’t need is someone who just happens to speak the language of your visitors.  What is said is important. The way it is said is just as important, as are the social niceties that accompany it. For example, with Japanese visitors you need someone who understands the required dress etiquette, and the all-important social conventions. More harm than good will be done by some well meaning person who might speak good Japanese but who is totally out of his depth with the bowing and the exchange of pleasantries.
